ENTRY FEE
Single Entry: $30 Family Four Pack: $100 Fee Includes: Entry to participate in either the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk or the 5K Run, race shirt, and race packet. Want to "Sleep In" but still support to support? RACE ROUTE
The course for both the Fun Walk/Run and the 5K starts in the APC field, winds through Bonnie Wenk Park and ends back at IIANT. The path is paved but will take short stretches on the sidewalks along Virginia Pkwy and Hardin Blvd. Families are encouraged to walk together and to keep younger children close at hand. Volunteers will be posted along the route to guide runners/walkers. |
RACE SHIRTS
Be sure to secure your FREE 2025 RISE. RUN. ROAR! race shirt by registering before Thursday, October 2nd. Free shirts will not be available for anyone who registers after October 2nd. Shirt Pickup Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm Dates: Friday, October 17th Location: Bonnie Wenk Amphitheater Parking Lot 2990 Virginia Pkwy, McKinney, TX 75071 If you are unable to pick up at these scheduled times, there will be an opportunity to get your shirt at check in on race day. Dragon Dash shirts are approved Spirit Wear that can be worn on Wednesdays. EVENT CHECK IN & PARKING
Race check in will be located in the small parking lot on the west side of the APC (between the APC and Virginia parking lot). Look for large signs and balloons! Parking: Virginia Lot is designated strictly for organizers, volunteers and race participants who plan to stay until the end of the race and event. Cars parked in Virginia Lot will not be allowed to clear out until event ends. All others are encouraged to use the Jordan Lot parking for easy entry and exit prior to event close. Overflow Parking: Overflow parking is available at the Heritage Learning Center (200 N. Jordan Rd) located across the street from the IIA-NT Jordan parking lot. Street parking is not allowed and violators are at risk of being fined and/or towed by the City of McKinney. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Once you've checked in, you can warm up until the beginning of your race is announced.

A: Please park in any designated parking spot in either the Virginia (only use if you plan to leave after race and event ends as cars will not be allowed to clear out prior to end of even for safety reasons) or Jordan parking lots of IIA-NT. Overflow parking is available at the Heritage Learning Center (200 N. Jordan Rd) located across the street from the IIA-NT Jordan parking lot.
Street parking is not allowed and violators are at risk of either being fined and/or towed by the City of McKinney.
