2017's Earth Day is looking for a few good volunteers to prepare for the April 22, 2017 event.
Earth Day 2016 was planned and managed by PiP committee and two Girl Scout troops. In conjunction with volunteers, we also had a Boy Scout troop volunteer the day of the event.

- K-12 Family Event
- Community Service
- Combines Outdoors with Science & Fun
- Allows students to volunteer & learn what it takes to create a large scale event
- Costs to families are kept at a minimum. Tips & donations are welcome.
- Sponsorship Packages are Available for 2017 event

2016: This year - have your family or team ready - we will be having a high tech treasure hunt, ride your bike, flyer your kite, family activities, & our annual silent auction. We had really great items last year, including Fast Passes, Family Fun Baskets & activities, event tickets, and lunch with teachers. This year's auction will be a mix of donation items for School, Family Activities, and Great Themed Baskets – for social and school community! ***Auction officially closes at 5:30pm
Parents: What is Geocaching?Our Event is Specific to Erwin Park, after learning to Geocache, you're family will enjoy the world wide treasure hunt on any outing, local or global!

Silent Auction Details & Preview:
- CARPOOL FAST PASSES (4)
- A Romance Package from Rick’s Chop House that includes dinner, champagne and a night’s stay at the Grand Hotel.
- Adele Tickets (Currently valued over $500 each on stub hub, procedes from this auction go towards the PiP legacy scholarship fund)
- EVENT & ACTIVITY TICKETS ie Cosmic Jump Tickets, or BBQ day at the Lake, or lessons to learn a new skill.
- DONATIONS TO TEACHERS & CLASS ACTIVITIES: If you know of a need a teacher has or wants, we can coordinate a donation auction of that item just for your favorite teacher's class, program. (All items donated in this manner remain property of school but used by your grade level, program or class).
- PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS
- Camping & Much more family and team items for your family to enjoy
- Socials & Ethnic Cuisine Dinners
Have an auction item you'd like to contribute? We would love to have more of the following items if you know anyone or would like to host:
1) Prizes for the Geocaching Teams
2) Dinner from Around the World. Basically, you will provide dinner of your cultural choice/family, to at your home, or the winner's home. Please specify what the type of Cuisine is, How many dinners, and what it does include and doesn't.
3) Class Social Activities - Can you host A day at an aquatics center with pizza and water? Or maybe your class wants to go bowling.
4) Any Donations are welcome, but please don't buy items at face value (except restaurant cards) and expect the sale of the basket or items to be at full value. Sometimes they are - like our Adele Tickets, but other times, if you have a like new item from home, craft, or service - great!

Community Members How to Donate:
Proceeds from event and auction continue to allow us to serve teacher appreciation, support student groups, and grants and scholarships for students. Additional items from room parents, or event coordinators may be communicated in April for things such as Cake Walk, or Raffle Tickets. Please indicate the item(s) you wish to donate on the form below and return the form to the Imagine PiP, via email, attention Cissy Oldner. You can also drop items off in the school office, or send us an email, and we can make arrangements to pick the item up, or send a Tax Letter. Donations are tax deductible.
